TVXQ to Return to Nissan Stadium After 8 Years…Sets New Record for Foreign Artists
by. ymchoi

TVXQ is heading back to Nissan Stadium for the first time in eight years.

During a fan club event held on November 24 at Kobe World Memorial Hall, TVXQ announced their third-ever concert at Nissan Stadium.

The shows will take place on April 25–26 next year under the title 20th Anniversary Live in Nissan Stadium – Red Ocean.

Nissan Stadium, with a capacity of up to 75,000, is one of Japan's largest concert venues. TVXQ was the first K-pop act to ever fill the stadium.

They first performed there on August 17–18, 2013. In 2018, they became the first foreign artist in history to hold three consecutive days of concerts at the venue.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary in Japan, TVXQ's return marks their third Nissan Stadium performance — setting a new all-time record for the most shows by an international artist.
