Nam Ji-hyun and Moon Sang-min are joining forces in a new historical romance. KBS2 unveiled the script reading session for its upcoming Saturday–Sunday miniseries My Beloved Thief, featuring the full cast including the two leads.

Set in the Joseon era, the drama follows a woman who becomes the greatest thief in the land and a prince who once pursued her—until the two suddenly swap souls, setting off a whirlwind of romance and intrigue.

The script reading hinted at strong chemistry. Director Ham Young-gul, writer Lee Sun, and the ensemble cast came together, naturally immersing themselves in their characters' emotions and rhythms.

Nam Ji-hyun plays Hong Eun-jo, a resolute medical woman born into a low social class but possessing an unshakeable spirit. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, showcasing her bold charm.

Moon Sang-min portrays Prince Lee Yeol of Dowol. His sly, playful acting stood out as he embodied a character obsessed with acting out military officer fantasies. His lively banter with Nam Ji-hyun added to the excitement.

Lim Jae-i plays Lim Jae-i, the taciturn second son of a powerful noble family, radiating charisma. Han So-eun appears as Shim Hae-rim, a refined young lady from a scholarly family, bringing sweetness and grace to the role.

According to the production team, the story will intertwine emotional conflicts, budding romance, palace intrigue, and the characters' personal struggles.

My Beloved Thief premieres on January 3 at 9:20 p.m. next year.
