Oh Jung-se is returning with a chilling villainous role. His agency Prain TPC confirmed his casting in Genie TV's new original series Climax (written by Lee Ji-won & Shin Ye-seul, directed by Lee Ji-won).
Climax follows a prosecutor who plunges into South Korea's power cartel, where everyone clawing toward the top crushes one another in the process.
Oh Jung-se plays Kwon Jong-wook, the eldest son of the WR Group, ranked third in the Korean business world. He enters an intense succession battle against Lee Yang-mi (played by Cha Joo-young).
Audiences can expect yet another transformation. Oh Jung-se is known for reshaping every character with his own unique colors, presenting striking variations from project to project.
In Good Boy, he portrayed the villain Min Ju-young. In Polaris, he became Jang Jun-sang, a man shaken to the core after confronting the truth behind his brother's death.
With Climax, he unveils a new persona—driven by boundless ambition and ready to clash with powerful figures to seize control.
Climax, featuring Oh Jung-se, is set for release next year and will also be available on ENA.
