Yoo Yeon-seok and Esom are set to take on extraordinary legal roles.
SBS-TV confirmed on the 26th that the two actors will star in the upcoming Friday–Saturday drama Shin I-rang Law Office (written by Kim Ga-young & Kang Chul-kyu, directed by Shin Joong-hoon).
The series is a supernatural courtroom adventure, following a lawyer who can see ghosts and an elite attorney as they unravel the unresolved stories of unusual clients through the law.
Yoo Yeon-seok plays Shin I-rang, a lawyer who begins seeing spirits after opening a law office in what used to be a shamanic ritual house. His possession episodes trigger unpredictable changes.
Esom takes on the role of Han Na-hyun, a star attorney at a major law firm with a perfect win rate. Her life veers off course after losing a case to Shin I-rang.
The drama highlights the refreshing synergy between two lawyers with contrasting abilities. Shin I-rang gathers key clues by hearing from ghostly clients or through brief possessions, while Han Na-hyun pieces those clues together with logic and the law. Their unlikely partnership deepens the intrigue as they chase the truth behind each case.
Producers noted that the "three-way teamwork" between Shin I-rang, Han Na-hyun, and the spirits with their own stories will deliver unexpected dynamics.
Shin I-rang Law Office is slated to air in the first half of next year.
