TWICE has added another major U.S. record to their global achievements.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) updated its Gold & Platinum listings on November 26 (KST), announcing new certifications across various categories.
RIAA certifications are divided into Gold (500,000 units), Platinum (1 million units), Multi-Platinum (2 million units), and Diamond (10 million units).
TWICE earned a Platinum certification for "Strategy," a track from their 14th mini album. This marks the first time a K-pop girl group has received a Platinum certification for a song.
"Strategy" is also featured on the original soundtrack of the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters and charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for 17 weeks.
Building a solid U.S. record
TWICE previously achieved Gold certifications with their first English single "The Feels" and the title track "I CAN'T STOP ME" from their second full album.
Global tour in progress
TWICE is currently on their sixth world tour THIS IS FOR, covering 43 regions with a total of 74 shows worldwide.
