Galaxy Corporation is searching for the next wave of global virtual idols.

The company announced that the 2025 Global Virtual Artist Audition in Seoul will take place on December 17 at The Forum in IFC Yeouido.

This audition adopts a unique format in which participants compete as virtual characters, emphasizing pure talent such as skill, creativity, and individuality — not appearance or gender.

Debuting as AI-powered virtual idols

Finalists will debut as AI-based virtual idols and undergo a specialized training system designed to merge entertainment and artificial intelligence. The program includes motion capture, digital stage performance, immersive media interaction, and more. Every aspect — music, identity, and performance — will incorporate AI technology.

Growing global attention

Galaxy Corporation previously held the same audition in Los Angeles this September, where Forbes highlighted the "explosive interest from K-pop fans." The second round took place in Osaka, and Seoul marks the third stop.

Applications run from tomorrow until December 12. Only first-round finalists will advance to the offline audition.

Galaxy Corporation is home to major artists including G-DRAGON, Kim Jong-kook, and Song Kang-ho.
