Jungkook of BTS has reached a historic milestone, proving once again his powerful global reach.
Spotify confirmed on the 27th that Jungkook's cumulative solo streams exceeded 10 billion as of November 25. This marks the first time ever for a Korean solo artist to achieve this figure.
His first solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023, played a major role. The album has generated more than 6.4 billion streams to date.
Jungkook continues to set new records for Korean solo acts on Spotify. His single "Seven" previously reached No. 1 on the Daily Top Songs Global chart.
The track recorded about 15,995,378 streams on its release day — the highest day-one total for any K-pop solo artist. It later ranked third on Spotify's "Most-Streamed Songs of Summer 2023" globally and has now amassed around 2.6 billion streams.
He currently holds four tracks with over 1 billion streams each: "Seven," "Standing Next to You," "Left and Right," and "3D."
Jungkook will also return next month with Season 2 of the travel variety show Is This For Real?!, featuring Jimin.
