Lee Byung-hun has earned a major nod at a U.S. film awards ceremony.
The Hollywood Creative Alliance revealed the nominee list for the 2025 Astra Film Awards on the 26th.
Lee Byung-hun is nominated for Best Actor, joining a highly competitive lineup that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Brendan Fraser, George Clooney, and Jesse Plemons.
He has received a total of four nominations this year. His film It Can't Be Helped, directed by Park Chan-wook, is also nominated for Best Picture, International Feature, and Adapted Screenplay.
Lee has been making his presence felt across North American film festivals. He previously received a Tribute Award at the Toronto International Film Festival and has collected trophies at the Newport Beach Film Festival and the Gotham Awards.
Most recently, he was honored with the Excellence in Cinema Award at the 11th Asian World Film Festival, an accolade recognizing outstanding achievement in the film industry.
