JYP Entertainment and its artists have stepped in to support recovery efforts following the devastating apartment fire in Hong Kong.
The company announced via Weibo on November 28 that it donated 2 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately 377 million KRW) through Hong Kong World Vision. JYP expressed condolences to residents who lost family members and their homes, hoping that "small acts of warmth will gather to become light."
Stray Kids Extend Support and Honor Firefighters
Stray Kids also joined the relief efforts, donating 1 million HKD (about 188 million KRW).
The members shared, "Our hearts were heavy hearing the tragic news. We sincerely hope for the swift recovery of the affected residents and families."
They also paid tribute to first responders: "We honor all the heroes who risked their lives on site to save others."
KickFlip Adds Local Support
KickFlip contributed 100,000 HKD (around 18.8 million KRW), offering wishes for a fast return to daily life for those who were displaced.
The combined donations will be used to provide temporary housing for affected children and residents, as well as psychological support for survivors coping with the aftermath.
