The 2025 MAMA Awards opened on November 28 at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium under a solemn atmosphere, following the recent fire tragedy.
Host Park Bogum began the ceremony by expressing condolences to those who lost loved ones, asking for a moment of reflection. He emphasized that all artists and staff prepared for the event with "a heavy yet responsible heart," hoping the night would bring strength and comfort.
MAMA also announced its Support Hong Kong initiative. CJ ENM and the 2025 MAMA Awards jointly donated 20 million HKD (approximately 3.78 billion KRW) to relief funds for victims of the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire.
Grand Prize Winners Announced
Two of the four major Daesang awards were revealed during Chapter 1.
Rosé won Song of the Year for "APT." — her global duet with Bruno Mars.
ENHYPEN took home Worldwide Fans' Choice, calling it "the perfect fifth-anniversary gift from ENGENE," and promising to continue working hard for fans around the world.
