Stray Kids have rewritten K-pop history. According to Billboard's preview report, the group's new album DO IT debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 dated November 30 (local time).
The album surpassed Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl, which previously held the top spot for seven consecutive weeks. With this, Stray Kids become the K-pop act with the most No.1 entries on the Billboard 200 — and the first in Billboard history to achieve eight consecutive No.1 albums.
Their streak began with ODDINARY in 2022, followed by MAXIDENT, ★★★★★ (5-STAR), ROCK-STAR, ATE, 合, KARMA, and now DO IT.
The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on pure sales, streaming-equivalent albums (SEA), and track-equivalent albums (TEA). DO IT posted 295,000 equivalent units during the tracking week, including 286,000 in pure sales — enough to top the Top Album Sales chart as well.
DO IT marks the start of the "SKZ X BangChan X 3RACHA era," showcasing the group's hottest and most definitive sound to date.
