The film PA-GWA (directed by Min Kyu-dong) is returning with a deeper narrative and expanded emotional layers.
Distributor NEW announced that PA-GWA: International Cut, an extended version with approximately 10 additional minutes beyond the Korean theatrical release, will hit theaters on December 10.
The story follows legendary assassin Jogak (played by Lee Hye-young) as she faces off against the enigmatic killer Tuwu (played by Kim Sung-cheol). The film originally premiered in Korea last April.
PA-GWA: International Cut adds new scenes—without altering the original storyline—that further reveal Jogak's emotional trajectory.
Lee Hye-young expressed strong satisfaction with the extended version, saying it "felt like watching an entirely new film," and encouraged audiences to experience it in theaters.
A new poster was also unveiled, highlighting the intense confrontation between Jogak and Tuwu. The 133-minute running time hints at the gripping moments awaiting viewers.
PA-GWA: International Cut opens in theaters on December 10.
