Ahn Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae are teaming up for a new round of crime-solving action.

SBS announced on December 3 that Chaebol X Detective will return for Season 2, once again led by director Kim Jae-hong and writer Kim Bada. Ahn Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae have been confirmed as the season's leads.

A Follow-Up to the 2023 Hit

Chaebol X Detective 2 continues the story of the series that concluded last March. The new season begins with a third-generation chaebol who became a detective by accident returning to Violent Crimes Unit 1 after completing police academy training.

Ahn Bo-hyun reprises his role as Jin Yi-soo — a privileged, impulsive chaebol heir who uses his family's vast resources to take down criminals.

A New Partner, A New Dynamic

Jung Eun-chae joins as the new partner, playing Joo Hye-ra, the no-nonsense leader of Violent Crimes Unit 1 and Jin Yi-soo's direct superior. The two previously crossed paths when she served as his notoriously strict "devil instructor."

The production team shared, "We are preparing thoroughly to deliver an even more entertaining Season 2," adding, "Please look forward to Jin Yi-soo's thrilling investigations."

Chaebol X Detective 2 is scheduled to air early next year.
