Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo are set to meet audiences next January.
The film Project Y, directed by Lee Hwan, has confirmed its January 21 release and revealed striking character posters, signaling an intense crime-entertainment spectacle.
Two women dreaming of a different tomorrow in a glittering city hit rock bottom — and steal black money and gold bars. From that moment, Mi-seon (Han So-hee) and Do-kyung (Jeon Jong-seo) plunge into a dangerous, no-turning-back story.
The film first premiered in the Special Presentations section of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, then screened at the 30th Busan International Film Festival, and later won Best Film at the 10th London Asian Film Festival.
A powerful cast elevates the tension. Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo lead, joined by Kim Shin-rok, Jung Young-joo, and Kim Sung-cheol — with YooA adding fresh energy in her acting debut.

Characters That Hit Hard
The posters spotlight each character's edge through unforgettable lines.
Han So-hee races through the city in a lavish fur jacket, paired with Mi-seon's warning: "If this goes wrong, we could really die."
Jeon Jong-seo stands in the cold night, her quote — "If we're going for it, let's live hard for once" — hinting at a risky leap that could flip her life upside down.
Kim Shin-rok (Ga-young) and Jung Young-joo (Hwang-so) radiate charisma through ominous lines, adding weight to the ensemble.
YooA (Ha-kyung) drops a chilling command: "Get it together. I'm your master."
Finally, Kim Sung-cheol (Chairman To) leaves an icy impression with: "It's time to end this."
Project Y hits theaters on January 21.
