Park Jin-young has continued his long-running philanthropy, donating another 1 billion KRW this year to support medical treatment for vulnerable children in Korea and abroad.
He attended a donation ceremony on December 4 at JYP headquarters in Seoul, contributing 1 billion KRW to help young patients facing high surgical and treatment costs.
Supporting Hospitals and Global Relief
Park Jin-young donated 200 million KRW each to Gachon University Gil Medical Center, Konyang University Hospital, and Seoul National University Children's Hospital. An additional 400 million KRW was given to World Vision to support overseas pediatric treatment as well as disaster recovery efforts in Thailand, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
He expressed his hopes for the children's recovery, stating, "Every child has limitless potential to change the world. I hope they receive the best care so they can grow healthy and dream freely. I wish the funds reach those who truly need them."
Park also shared a personal reflection: "I have two daughters—six and five years old. When I meet children who've received treatment, their bright eyes remind me of my own daughters, which deepens my commitment."
A Steady Commitment to Giving
He pledged to continue giving: "I, along with JYP and our artists, will keep working hard so we can continue sharing. I hope donation culture spreads, and that funds are used transparently to truly support children."
Park Jin-young has donated 1 billion KRW every year since 2022, returning a total of 4 billion KRW to society over four years.
JYP Entertainment has also led meaningful initiatives, contributing 1.714 billion KRW this year through its EDM medical support program. Since 2020, the company has donated a cumulative 7.92 billion KRW, aiding 3,000 children in Korea and overseas.
