Lisa of BLACKPINK is set to team up with Ma Dong-seok and Lee Jin-wook in a major action blockbuster.

Netflix confirmed on the 5th that TIGO, directed by Lee Sang-yong, has officially begun production with the three stars leading the cast.

A Spin-Off in the "Extraction" Universe

TIGO shares its universe with Chris Hemsworth's Hollywood Extraction series and will be developed as a spin-off title.

Ma Dong-seok plays Tigo, a mercenary who grew up as a war orphan. When a teammate — practically family — is kidnapped by a criminal organization, he embarks on a life-or-death rescue mission.

Lee Jin-wook joins as Arman Choi, the ruthless crime boss standing opposite Tigo. The film will showcase high-tension confrontations between the two.

Lisa's Second Acting Challenge

Following her appearance in The White Lotus Season 3, Lisa takes on a new acting challenge as Ria — Tigo's friend and team member who finds herself in danger mid-mission.

Director Lee Sang-yong, known for leading the The Roundup series to Korea's first-ever "triple 10-million admissions" record, directs the project. Acclaimed action director Heo Myung-haeng also joins the team.
