Daesung is making a long-awaited return to trot — this time with a track crafted by G-Dragon, marking their first trot collaboration in about 17 years.

On December 4, Daesung unveiled the highlight medley–trailer for his new single album Limit Exceeded, featuring three songs: "Limit Exceeded," "A Single Rose," and "Maybe Loneliness Suits Me."

A Reunion of Hitmakers

The title track "Limit Exceeded" reunites Daesung with Kush and G-Dragon, the trio behind "Look at Me, Gwisoon" (2008) and "It's a Big Hit!" (2009). This new trot track amplifies Daesung's playful, lively charm.

"A Single Rose" delivers a synth-rock love song, while "Maybe Loneliness Suits Me" leans into R&B, portraying heartbreak through Daesung's calm, expressive vocals. Each track reflects his wit and colorful musical identity.

A Genre-Expanding Project

A representative shared, "Daesung's new single showcases musical colors that cross genres. From youthful love to confession and the moment of parting, he tells these stories in his own unique way."

Daesung will release Limit Exceeded on December 10 at 6 p.m.

He will also hold an encore run of his This Wake Asia Tour from January 2–4, 2026, at Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Seoul.
