MBC has released three main posters for its new Friday–Saturday drama Judge Lee Han-young, spotlighting a fierce face-off between Ji Sung and Park Hee-soon as judges on opposite ends of morality.
Adapted from a popular web novel, the series follows Lee Han-young (played by Ji Sung), a corrupt judge who returns to the past and vows to dismantle the massive evil he once enabled. His mission for justice quickly collides with Kang Shin-jin (Park Hee-soon), a powerful villainous judge who stands at the top of the dark forces. Han-young teams up with prosecutor Kim Jin-a (Won Jin-a) to push forward in his pursuit of truth.
Duality in the Posters
The newly revealed posters highlight the stark contrast between good and evil. Ji Sung and Park Hee-soon face different directions, signaling a direct ideological conflict. Their contrasting black-and-white imagery amplifies the tension between righteousness and corruption.
Visual Symbols of Good and Evil
In another poster, Lee Han-young and Kim Jin-a appear in lighter tones, hinting at their moral alignment. Meanwhile, Kang Shin-jin's dark suit underscores his ominous presence within the narrative.
A Hero in Focus
A solo poster of Lee Han-young further intensifies anticipation. Wearing his judge's robe and exuding confidence, he stands beside the tagline: "A definite punishment awaits." The line teases a bold, retributive justice storyline.
Judge Lee Han-young premieres on January 2 at 9:40 p.m.
