Han So-hee is set to command the big screen with her bold, arresting presence.
Distributor Plus M Entertainment released new character stills of Project Y (directed by Lee Hwan) on December 8, along with interviews featuring Han So-hee, who plays the role of Miseon, and the director.
Miseon is a woman fighting for an ordinary, peaceful life. Just as she nears that long-desired moment, everything collapses — pushing her to devise a plan to steal illicit money.
The stills reveal her contrasting sides: a gentle smile that radiates warmth, and a sharp, piercing gaze that hints at danger. The images deepen curiosity about Miseon's emotional landscape.
Han So-hee recalled, "Miseon is a character who made me question whether I could pull it off, while at the same time giving me the confidence that I might do it well."
She takes on another major transformation, following her genre-spanning work in The World of the Married and Gyeongseong Creature. This time, she immerses herself in a role that steps directly into danger.
Director Lee Hwan expressed full satisfaction with her performance. "In the very first shoot, Han So-hee walked into the scene without a single line — and she was Miseon," he said.
Project Y tells the story of women who have nothing but each other as they attempt to escape their harsh reality by stealing illicit cash. It hits theaters on January 21.
