Doyoung and Jungwoo Enlist in the Army: "Stay Happy Until We Meet Again"
by. ymchoi

NCT's Doyoung and Jungwoo have officially begun their military service.

Both members entered the Army Training Center on December 8. Doyoung will serve as an active-duty soldier, while Jungwoo will fulfill his duty in the Army band. They will undergo five weeks of basic military training.

No separate send-off event was held. Their agency asked fans to refrain from visiting the site to ensure safety for service members and families.

On Weverse, Doyoung shared a heartfelt message: "As I close one chapter, I feel that I've endured and overcome so much thanks to the NCTzens who loved me and stayed with me. I think I'll end up missing you all even more."

Jungwoo also expressed gratitude: "I'm always thankful to NCTzens who stayed by my side and believed in me. I exist because you've been there cheering in the same place. Leaving for a while feels unfamiliar and sad, but I believe I'll return stronger."

He added, "Please take good care of our members while I'm gone. I'll never forget the love you've given me, and I'll come back better than before. Thank you always, and I love you. Let's all stay happy until the day we meet again."

NCT members are enlisting one by one. Taeyong, currently serving as a Navy band member, is scheduled for discharge on December 14. Jaehyun is serving in the Army band and is set to finish service in May 2026.
