BLACKPINK's Rosé has been named one of the world's leading hitmakers by the international press.

Variety hosted its 2025 Hitmakers ceremony in Los Angeles on December 7 (KST), where Rosé received the Global Hitmaker of the Year award for her pre-release single "APT." and her first full-length album rosie.

"It feels like everything unimaginable burst into reality this past year. Watching my music grow as people embraced it has been such a joy," she said during her acceptance speech.

She added, "I'm deeply grateful to The Black Label and to my mentor, producer Teddy, for supporting and guiding me through an unbelievably busy year."

Rosé's "APT." became a cultural phenomenon, earning her the Song of the Year honor at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards — a first for a K-pop artist.

She also secured two major Grammy nominations: Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Rosé is currently performing on BLACKPINK's ongoing world tour, DEADLINE.
