Park Narae announced a full suspension of her broadcasting career, sharing a lengthy personal statement through her social media account on December 8.
She wrote, "I can't cause any more harm. Until everything is resolved, I will be stepping down from all broadcast activities." Park Narae has exited ongoing shows such as MBC-TV I Live Alone, Help Me! Homez, and tvN Amazing Saturday. Programs that were preparing for their first broadcast have also halted scheduling.
She addressed the background of the accusations raised by her former managers, explaining, "We didn't have the chance to speak until very recently, and misunderstandings built up between us." After meeting in person, the misunderstandings were resolved, but Park Narae stated, "Even if distrust has been cleared, I believe everything is ultimately my fault. I will reflect deeply."
The I Live Alone team released an official statement as well, noting, "Given the seriousness of the situation and Park Narae's decision to step down, we have decided to suspend her appearance on the show." They added an apology for the delayed response and promised to continue striving to deliver healthy, responsible entertainment.
Earlier, this outlet reported on December 4 that Park Narae faced a real estate provisional seizure request from her former managers, along with allegations involving an unauthorized medical procedure related to her aunt.
