Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon team up for a sharp-edged, enemies-to-lovers romance.
SBS's upcoming Fri–Sat drama From Today, I Am Human unveiled its script reading session on December 9, featuring Kim Hye-yoon, Lomon, and the main cast. The series blends fantasy and romance as it follows an MZ-generation gumiho who refuses to become human and a self-loving world-class soccer star who enters her life in the most unexpected way.
A Fantasy Romance Built on Clashing Worlds
Director Kim Jung-kwon and writers Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young led the session, which was filled with energetic exchanges and lively chemistry.
Kim Hye-yoon plays Eun-ho, an offbeat gumiho who avoids good deeds and stays away from men out of fear she might turn human. Her mix of chic sharpness and subtle charm brings a new kind of gumiho to life.
Lomon portrays Kang Si-yeol, a world-famous football player confident to a fault but never lazy. Meeting Eun-ho throws his perfectly built life into upheaval.
Ensemble of Distinctive Characters
Lee Si-woo appears as Geum-ho, who has a past connection with Eun-ho. Jang Dong-joo plays Hyun Woo-seok, anchoring a key storyline. Choi Seung-yun takes on Yi Yoon, a fourth-generation chaebol heir and the drama's primary villain.
The series also stars In Gyo-jin, Lee Seung-joon, Yoo Hwan, Kim Tae-jung, Ji Seung-jun, and Kim Tae-hee. Hong Soo-hyun makes a special appearance as Hong Yeon-soo, Kang Si-yeol's partner.
From Today, I Am Human promises a fresh, imaginative world and standout synergy between Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon that fans have long been waiting for.
The drama premieres January 16 at 9:50 p.m. on SBS.
