Kim Sejeong is set to release her first single album Solar System, a reinterpretation of Sung Si-kyung's track from his 2011 seventh album The First.

A New Emotional Layer to a Classic

The single drops on December 17 at 6 p.m. Kim Sejeong reimagines the original song through her own sensibility, offering a fresh texture to its lingering sentiment and emotional depth.

Producer Jeokjae led the musical direction. "I wanted to express the song's emotions as if they were an actor's monologue," he said, adding, "I hope listeners can feel it breathing together with Sejeong's delivery."

Trailer Filled With Quiet Poetry

A trailer capturing the mood of Solar System has also been released. Curtains, teacups, wine glasses, notebooks, pens, and hands turning sheet music — everyday objects turn into cinematic moments, hinting at a calm yet lyrical atmosphere.

Kim Sejeong is currently showcasing two contrasting personas on MBC's The Moon Flows Over the River. As Park Dari, she brings a strong and energetic charm; as Crown Princess Kang Yeonwol, she delivers a poignant and emotional performance.
