Teddy, head producer of The Black Label, has been honored with the Prime Minister's Commendation for his contributions to Korea's global content expansion.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency hosted the 2025 Korea Content Awards on the 10th at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. The annual ceremony recognizes creators who have produced outstanding content and advanced Korea's cultural industry through export growth and global influence.
Teddy received the commendation in the Overseas Expansion Achievement category, acknowledged for his role in spreading the Korean Wave and fostering international cultural exchange.
He has long been a defining figure in K-pop, producing major hits for BIGBANG, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK. After establishing The Black Label, he continued shaping the industry by developing unique and distinctive artists.
His creative identity strengthened further through the debuts of MEOVV and ALLDAY PROJECT, and he composed multiple tracks for the OST of the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters.
