ZICO Teams Up With YOASOBI's Ikura for New Single 'DUET,' Out December 19

ZICO is set to release a global collaboration with Ikura of Japanese band YOASOBI.

On December 12, ZICO announced via social media that his new digital single "DUET" will be released on December 19 at midnight KST across major music platforms.

Ikura joined the project as a featured collaboration artist. On the same day, she shared a photo of a "DUET invitation" she received from ZICO, further raising anticipation for the release.

Ikura is the vocalist of YOASOBI and is known for performing hit anime theme songs, including "Idol" from Oshi no Ko. For her solo activities, she goes by the name Lilas Ikuta.

ZICO has consistently explored new musical directions through collaborations with diverse artists. He previously participated in writing and composing BLACKPINK's Jennie's track "like JENNIE," showcasing his versatility as a producer.

His agency commented, "This project brings together ZICO, a leading figure in Korean hip-hop, and Lilas Ikuta, a symbolic voice in Japanese band music," adding, "Please look forward to the music they have created together."

Meanwhile, ZICO will hold his solo concert TOKYO DRIVE on February 7 next year at Keio Arena Tokyo.
