Singer and actor Park Jinyoung has released a surprise Christmas carol to wrap up the year.

On December 10, Park Jinyoung unveiled his digital single "Christmas Fever" across major music platforms. The release marks his first solo song in nearly two years and 11 months.

"Christmas Fever" captures the fluttering excitement of the holiday season in a sweet, lovable mood. The lyrics compare uncontrollable excitement to a sudden cough, playfully expressing emotions that can't be hidden when Christmas arrives.

The accompanying video has also been drawing attention. It features Park Jinyoung singing while gazing out at a snow-filled view, enhancing the cozy winter atmosphere and amplifying the seasonal sentiment.

Since his days with GOT7, Park Jinyoung has been known as a core member for both vocals and performance, recognized for his emotive tone and stable expression that shaped the group's lyrical identity.

Through his solo work, he has continued to explore deeper emotions and personal narratives, releasing the single "DIVE" in 2021 and his first EP "Chapter 0: WITH" in 2023.

He has also maintained a steady acting career, appearing in dramas such as Beloved Eun-dong, Yumi's Cells, and Unknown Seoul, as well as the film Hi-Five, building a distinct presence as an actor.

Meanwhile, Park Jinyoung is currently filming JTBC's upcoming drama Shining.
