Rookie boy group IDID has been named one of the most promising K-pop newcomers by U.S. media, drawing growing global attention.

American outlet Stardust recently unveiled its list of "10 K-Pop Rookie Groups Set to Shake Up 2026," selecting IDID as one of its standout super rookies.

Alongside IDID, the list highlighted several rising acts gaining traction across the global K-pop scene, underscoring the genre's expanding new generation.

The publication focused closely on IDID's artistic appeal, praising the strong launch of their debut album I Did It and the bold, high-impact concept of their follow-up single Push Back.

Stardust also pointed to the group's long-term narrative. "Their name represents a team that can say 'I did it' at the end of every challenge," the outlet noted, adding that IDID is a group with a compelling long-term storyline.

Early exposure on major stages was another key factor. "By joining major lineups such as KCON LA, IDID is rapidly expanding its presence as a next-generation boy group," the media said.

Formed through the survival program Debut's Plan, all seven members proved their solid skills from the outset. Each member's distinct color has helped boost the group's global recognition.

IDID claimed their first music show trophy just 12 days after debut. Their debut album I Did It recorded 441,524 copies sold in its first week alone, signaling strong market impact.

The group recently won the Rising Star Award at the KGMA and also made an appearance at the 2025 MAMA Awards, capturing fans with a mix of rookie freshness and powerful performance energy.

IDID is set to continue meeting fans through various year-end stages, maintaining momentum as one of K-pop's most closely watched new acts.
