TWICE has issued a firm warning against privacy invasions by some fans, signaling potential legal action.
On December 15, JYP Entertainment posted a notice on the official fan community platform Fans, stating that "there have been repeated cases of fans intruding on TWICE's personal movements or approaching excessively during private and non-public schedules."
The agency expressed serious safety concerns. "Such behavior causes psychological pressure and stress for the artists," the statement said, adding that it can create significant inconvenience for members who are frequently traveling overseas.
Specific examples of misconduct were outlined, including unauthorized filming during vacations or family visits, photographing family members or acquaintances traveling with the artists, repeated attempts to initiate conversations, and obstructing the artists' movement.
JYP emphasized a zero-tolerance stance. "If these actions continue or situations arise in which the members feel uncomfortable, we will take all necessary measures to protect our artists," the company warned.
The statement concluded with a request for cooperation. "We will do our utmost to ensure that the artists can continue their activities and rest in a stable environment. We sincerely ask for fans' mature consideration and support."
Meanwhile, TWICE will resume their world tour THIS IS FOR next month, performing on January 10 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.
