IVE has announced a new policy declining fan gifts and support, expressing appreciation while encouraging fans to keep their goodwill in more meaningful ways.
On December 15, Starship Entertainment posted a notice on IVE's official social media titled "Guidelines on Fan Letters, Gifts, and Support," outlining updated rules regarding fan offerings.
The agency explained, "Aside from fan letters, we have decided not to accept gifts or support. This decision was made with the hope that fans' sincerity can return to places where it is truly needed."
Starship added a further request, saying, "If there are any support projects currently being prepared or planned, we respectfully ask for your understanding as we decline them. We gratefully accept the sentiment alone."
IVE joins a growing list of artists who have taken a similar stance, including BTS, SEVENTEEN, IU, TWICE, DAY6, aespa, and PLAVE.
Throughout the year, IVE showcased a wide musical spectrum with releases such as REBEL HEART, ATTITUDE, and XOXZ. Their third mini album IVE EMPATHY expanded the group's narrative from "me" to "us," while maintaining their core message of self-confidence and resonating strongly with listeners.
Meanwhile, IVE is set to continue their second world tour next April with a major concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
