BIGBANG's Daesung gifted seniors a special and heartwarming day, delivering warmth to a remote mountain village.
On December 15, KBS 1TV's 6 O'Clock My Hometown aired its Yeongwol County episode in Gangwon Province. Daesung joined youth association head Son Heon-soo, driving a general-goods truck to isolated villages with limited transportation access.
The duo helped operate the truck during the harsh winter season, selling and delivering daily necessities to seniors as they traveled throughout the village. Residents expressed gratitude, saying they were thankful not to have to travel into town for essentials.
Villagers also pitched in together, helping with tasks such as bagging beans for their neighbors. The atmosphere reflected a strong sense of community and shared care.
After navigating winding mountain roads, Daesung arrived at the village hall to enthusiastic cheers. He also visited an elderly resident living alone after losing her husband, replacing light bulbs and quietly returning the love he had received throughout the day.
Meanwhile, Daesung is currently promoting his single Beyond the Limit, released on December 10. The trot track highlights his energetic expression and distinctive vocals, marking another warm chapter in his diverse musical journey.
