Actor Lee Chaemin has canceled his fan meetings in Hong Kong and Taiwan, while confirming that the final stop of his Asia tour in Tokyo will go ahead as scheduled.
Lee Chaemin rose as a breakout star through the drama The Tyrant's Chef. Following the series' conclusion, he has been meeting overseas fans across major Asian cities through the 2025 Lee Chaemin Fan Meeting Tour "Chaem: Into You."
He successfully completed fan meetings in Seoul on October 24–25 at Sejong University, followed by stops in Jakarta on November 15, Manila on November 23, and Bangkok on December 6.
However, the Hong Kong fan meeting scheduled for December 14 was unavoidably canceled, with all tickets fully refunded. The decision came amid a recent large-scale fire tragedy in Hong Kong, making it difficult to proceed with the event under the circumstances.
The Hong Kong organizer stated, "Considering the current atmosphere of collective mourning, we determined that hosting a joyful and warm event would not be appropriate," adding an apology for the cancellation. They also expressed condolences, saying, "We hope public attention and support are directed toward the affected citizens. We stand in mourning with the people of Hong Kong, pray for the deceased, and wish the injured a speedy recovery."
The Taiwan fan meeting, originally scheduled for January 4 at the National Taiwan University Sports Center, was also canceled. The local organizer cited "unavoidable force majeure circumstances," explaining that it would be difficult to provide audiences with a high-quality performance experience, and apologized for disappointing fans.
Japan will mark the final destination of Lee Chaemin's Asia tour. He is set to wrap up the tour with a fan meeting in Tokyo on January 31, where he plans to share the lasting impact of The Tyrant's Chef with fans in Japan.
