JYP Entertainment supported 803 critically ill children this year through its ongoing social contribution initiatives.
On December 15, JYP released a video titled "2025 JYP EDM Day," highlighting the outcomes of its EDM social responsibility programs carried out throughout the year. The video featured Park Jin-young, Jun. K, ITZY's Yuna, and children who benefited from the EDM initiative.
EDM stands for "Every Dream Matters!", JYP's long-running slogan representing a series of projects designed to support children's dreams and well-being.
The core focus of EDM is medical expense support. In 2025, JYP concentrated on assisting children suffering from severe illnesses with high treatment costs, helping a total of 803 children both in Korea and overseas continue their recovery journeys.
JYP also expanded its collaboration with global NGO World Vision. While previously focused on Asia, the program extended this year to Central and South America, supporting children in nine countries including Mexico, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Brazil, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Several individual cases were shared, including a five-year-old child in Indonesia with a ventricular septal defect, a seven-year-old child in the Philippines diagnosed with chronic glomerulonephritis, a 22-year-old patient who underwent a lung transplant after being diagnosed with neuroblastoma and leukemia, and a 10-year-old child receiving treatment for leukemia.
Through EDM's medical support initiatives, JYP has donated a cumulative total of ₩7.92 billion since 2020. Over six years, the company has supported children across 10 countries, helping 366 children in Korea and 3,593 overseas regain hope and continue dreaming.
JYP also introduced fan-participation donation projects. Donation booths were set up at domestic concerts by DAY6, TWICE, Xdinary Heroes, and NMIXX, collecting fan contributions totaling ₩45.21 million, all of which will be donated toward medical expenses.
In addition, JYP held an amateur charity basketball tournament, JYPBT, where participation fees, along with donations from JYP and sponsors, raised ₩21 million, which was donated to Samsung Medical Center for pediatric treatment.
The company also shared updates on its eco-friendly initiative "Love Earth." Fans participated in activities such as quizzes, energy-saving practices, and eco-friendly transportation to support ocean protection. Based on participation counts, ₩50.51 million was accumulated and donated to coastal conservation efforts.
Lastly, JYP highlighted charitable activities by its artists. Acts including Jang Wooyoung, DAY6's Dowoon, TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY's Yeji and Chaeryeong, NMIXX, and KickFlip participated in various donation efforts, supporting causes such as medical aid, wildfire relief, and assistance for victims of the Hong Kong tragedy.
