The Tazza franchise is set to make its return with Tazza: Beelzebub's Song (working title), also known as Tazza 4, shifting its focus to the high-stakes world of poker business. Actors Byeon Yo-han and Noh Jaewon have been cast as the leads, facing off in a global gambling arena.
Tazza 4 is a crime film centered on Jang Taeyoung (Byeon Yo-han), a gambler who finds success through poker-based business ventures, and his former close friend Park Taeyoung (Noh Jaewon), who ultimately takes everything from him. The two reunite in an international gambling scene where massive sums are at stake, risking their lives in a deadly showdown.
Byeon Yo-han plays Jang Taeyoung, a natural-born gambler who instinctively attracts money. After discovering the potential of poker business, he launches a new venture, only to be betrayed by his closest friend and fall into ruin.
Noh Jaewon portrays Park Taeyoung, a gifted poker prodigy. Despite his talent, he always falls short when competing with Jang Taeyoung. His growing obsession with success eventually leads him to betray his friend.
Japanese actress Miyoshi Ayaka joins the cast as Kaneko, the head of a company backed by a yakuza organization. Kaneko takes interest in the poker business run by Jang Taeyoung and Park Taeyoung, and is expected to emerge as a new iconic female character following Kim Hye-soo and Shin Se-kyung in the series.
The film is directed by Choi Kook-hee, known for Default. With Tazza 4, he aims to preserve the franchise's originality while introducing a fresh direction.
Tazza 4 is currently in production and is scheduled for release next year.
