Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung are set to awaken romance cells with their on-screen chemistry.
Netflix's upcoming series "Can This Love Be Translated?" unveiled a new teaser poster and trailer on December 18. Written by the Hong Sisters and directed by Yoo Young-eun, the romantic comedy follows the story of Ju Ho-jin, a multilingual interpreter, who becomes the personal interpreter for global top star Cha Mu-hee.
In the poster, Go Youn-jung is seen during an interview while Kim Seon-ho looks on attentively. Ju Ho-jin is a highly skilled interpreter fluent in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, and Italian. Cha Mu-hee, meanwhile, is a star who suddenly finds herself at the center of worldwide attention. Ho-jin's focused gaze suggests his determination not to miss a single word she says.
The tagline, "The hardest language to translate is you," encapsulates the heart of the drama, hinting at a relationship where words can be interpreted, but emotions remain difficult to decode.
The teaser trailer highlights the contrast between Ho-jin's calm demeanor and Mu-hee's unpredictable charm, creating playful banter through their opposite personalities. The visuals are enriched with stunning scenery from Italy, Canada, and Japan, including aurora-lit skies, ancient castles, and expansive lakes, adding to the romantic atmosphere.
"Can This Love Be Translated?" premieres globally on Netflix on January 16.
