Girls' Generation's Yoona is returning to music with a brand-new release.

On December 19, SM Entertainment announced that Yoona will unveil her new single Wish to Wish, marking her comeback as a singer.

Wish to Wish reinterprets the sound of 1980s pop, blending Yoona's soft, clear vocals with bright orchestral arrangements. The track delivers a classic pop atmosphere with a warm, uplifting tone.

Yoona took part in writing the lyrics, expressing a heartfelt message of "shining together for a long time." The song reflects her desire to give back to fans for the love and support she has received throughout the year.

Since September, Yoona has been meeting fans through her The Tyrant's Chef Drama Fan Meeting world tour, visiting cities including Yokohama, Macau, Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, and Bangkok.

The tour will conclude on December 20 at the Grand Auditorium of Seoul Women's University in Nowon-gu, Seoul, where Yoona is set to perform Wish to Wish live for the first time.

Wish to Wish will be released today at 6 p.m. KST on major music platforms.
