The psychological thriller Perfect Girl has officially completed filming, marking a major milestone for the K-pop–meets–Hollywood project.
The production company Johnny Bros confirmed on December 19 that the film has wrapped principal photography. Perfect Girl centers on a series of mysterious incidents that unfold during the selection process of a K-pop girl group, blending suspense with the high-stakes world of idol training.
Jeon Somi takes the lead role, making her acting debut and signaling a potential entry into Hollywood projects. The cast also includes Nancy of MOMOLAND, Siyoon of Billie, and Chaerin of Cherry Bullet, bringing together a lineup that resonates strongly with global K-pop fans.
International actors Arden Cho and May Hong have joined the film as well. Both previously lent their voices to Rumi and Mira in Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters. Adeline Rudolph, John Harlan Kim, and Lee Jae-yoon round out the ensemble, adding further global appeal.
Music and performance are key highlights of the film. Perfect Girl features five original OST tracks alongside powerful dance performances, aiming to deliver a fresh cinematic experience that goes beyond the traditional K-pop audience.
The production team stated that the film combines K-pop's content production expertise with Hollywood's filmmaking capabilities, positioning Perfect Girl as a new signal for the future of global entertainment.
