Actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a tied the knot, officially becoming husband and wife after a decade-long public relationship.
The couple held a private wedding ceremony on the evening of December 20 at the Dynasty Hall of the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. Singer Car, the Garden performed the congratatory song, while actor Lee Kwang-soo served as the host.
Venerable Beopryun officiated the ceremony, drawing attention for his rare role as the presiding figure. He is known to have been a source of spiritual support for Kim Woo-bin during his battle with nasopharyngeal cancer.
The guest list was as star-studded as an awards ceremony. Attendees included BTS's V, Do Kyung-soo, Gong Hyo-jin, Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-ri, Go Doo-shim, Kim Eui-sung, Ahn Bo-hyun, Bae Jung-nam, Nam Joo-hyuk, Park Kyung-lim, writers Kim Eun-sook and Noh Hee-kyung, and producer Na Young-seok.
Do Kyung-soo notably stopped by the wedding between his schedules for the Melon Music Awards before returning to the ceremony venue, showing his close friendship with the groom.
Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a also released their wedding photos to greet the public. The photos were taken on the day of the first snowfall of the year, capturing the couple smiling brightly under falling snow as they marked a new beginning.
Through their agencies, the couple said, "We sincerely thank everyone who warmly blessed this precious starting point in our lives," adding, "We will repay the support by showing better work as actors."
Their generosity on the wedding day also drew attention. Ahead of the ceremony, the couple donated a total of KRW 300 million to organizations including the Hanlim Burn Foundation, Asan Medical Center, and Good Neighbors.
Meanwhile, Shin Min-a is set to return with Disney+'s upcoming series The Remarried Empress, while Kim Woo-bin is currently appearing on tvN's variety show KongKongPangPang.
