John Park reunited with fans at the same venue for the first time in eight years, closing the year with a voice-driven concert that left a deep impression.
From December 19 to 21, John Park held his solo concert Like a Dream at Ewha Womans University ECC Samsung Hall in Seoul. The show marked his return to the stage at the venue where he last performed in December 2017 with MONO, making the reunion especially meaningful for longtime fans.
The concert ran for approximately 120 minutes. Instead of flashy special effects, large LED screens, or guest appearances, the stage was stripped down to its core—John Park's vocals and a full live band.
"I'm sorry for making you wait so long," he said. "Rather than visual spectacle, I wanted to focus on the sound and the breathing we create together."
The stage instantly transformed into a 1920s New York jazz club atmosphere as he opened with "Bluff," greeting the audience with his signature groovy mid-to-low-range vocals. Emotional ballads such as "Place" and "All I Want" followed, while tracks like "Nightcrawler" and "Why Is That" showcased explosive energy through dynamic band sessions.
John Park poured passion into every moment. Guitar solos and performances of "This Isn't It" proved that lighting and sound alone were enough to command the 700-seat hall.

He also prepared a special Christmas gift for fans, presenting a carol medley that included "Love Again," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," and "The Christmas Song."
The latter half of the concert turned into a celebration. Rhythmic hits like "Falling," "Vista," and "Stutter" kept the momentum high, with the audience responding through claps and sing-alongs.
The encore left a lasting afterglow. John Park returned with "Save Our Christmas" and closed the night with the concert's title track, Like a Dream.
Sharing his heartfelt thoughts, he said, "I took a very long break. While preparing for this concert, I was reminded of how precious the stage truly is."
He added, "I want to perform more often from now on. Especially during the Christmas season, I'll make sure to come back. I promise the wait until the next concert won't be long."
