Singer Jeong Dong-won will enlist in the military immediately after graduating from high school.

On December 24, his agency Show Play Entertainment announced that Jeong Dong-won will enter the training camp of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps on February 23 next year, shortly after completing his graduation ceremony.

Jeong Dong-won applied for the Marine Corps and recently received his acceptance notice. His decision reflects a long-held personal goal to serve in the Marines.

The agency stated that no official events will be held on the day of enlistment and respectfully asked fans to refrain from visiting the site.

They added, "Please support him so he can fulfill his duty to the nation in good health and return to you with greater maturity. We will also continue to support him while we wait."
