Actor Ahn Bo-hyun has once again demonstrated meaningful influence through generosity.
On December 24, the Community Chest of Korea announced that Ahn Bo-hyun donated KRW 100 million ahead of year's end.
The donation will be allocated to vision-loss prevention programs run by the Korea Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness, supporting surgery costs for children and teenagers from low-income families who suffer from retinal diseases.
With this contribution, Ahn Bo-hyun officially joined the Honor Society, a group reserved for major donors who contribute KRW 100 million or more to the Community Chest of Korea.
His philanthropy has been consistent. In the past, he donated hand sanitizers during the COVID-19 pandemic and provided sanitary products worth KRW 50 million, continuing his long-term commitment to giving back.
Meanwhile, Ahn Bo-hyun is set to appear in tvN's new Monday–Tuesday drama Spring Fever, premiering on January 5 next year.
