Actor Han Ji-min shared warmth with young patients this Christmas season.
On December 24, her agency BH Entertainment announced that Han Ji-min recently donated KRW 100 million to Seoul National University Children's Hospital to support children from low-income families.
The entire donation will be used to assist pediatric patients facing financial hardship. The contribution was inspired by Han Ji-min's personal experience, recalling a past visit to the hospital with her family where she encountered young patients undergoing treatment.
A representative explained that the memory stayed with her for a long time and became the motivation behind the donation, adding that she hoped it would provide even a small comfort to children enduring difficult treatment periods.
Han Ji-min has consistently focused her philanthropy on children. In 2022, she donated KRW 100 million to support Ukrainian children affected by the Russian invasion and an additional KRW 50 million for children worldwide. She continued her giving in 2023 and 2024 with KRW 50 million donations each year and also participated in street fundraising campaigns.
Meanwhile, Han Ji-min is set to return with her next project, JTBC's Efficient Dating for Singles, scheduled for release on February 28, 2026, a story that explores the true meaning of love.
