i-dle shows no signs of slowing down as the group lines up another global sprint in 2026.
Over the past year, i-dle stayed active across Korea and overseas, starting with a bold rebrand. By dropping the "G" from their original name, the group signaled the beginning of a new narrative.
They followed up with a full-group release in May, dropping their 8th mini album We are. The project showcased a more mature sound and emotional depth, winning over global listeners.
U.S. outlet Billboard selected the album for its 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2025: Staff Picks, praising it as "an impressive turning point in i-dle's discography."
In October, the group expanded its reach in Japan with a new EP titled i-dle, topping local charts including Oricon's Daily Album Ranking.
Individual activities also stood out. Minnie's first mini album HER, Yuqi's debut single Motivation, and Miyeon's second mini album My, Lover all drew strong fan response. Minnie also appeared in the film 50 First Kisses, while Soyeon and Yuqi took part in producing junior groups. Shuhua was named a tourism ambassador for Taoyuan.
The momentum continues next year as i-dle launches its fourth world tour, Syncopation. The tour will mark a milestone with i-dle becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at Taipei Dome.
The tour officially kicks off on February 21–22, 2026, at KSPO Dome in Seoul, setting the stage for another global run.
