Stray Kids Take Legal Action Against Malicious Posts, Including on Overseas Platforms
by. ymchoi

Stray Kids have announced a firm legal stance against malicious online activity targeting the group.

JYP Entertainment stated on December 27 that it is pursuing legal action against the spread of false information, defamation, and other acts that infringe on the artists' rights.

The agency has been working with a professional monitoring firm to closely track domestic and international online communities and social media platforms, collecting evidence of malicious posts and comments in real time.

Based on the findings, complaints have been continuously filed against individuals involved in spreading false rumors, slander, malicious insults, and mocking behavior. Investigations are currently underway.

JYP confirmed that investigative authorities have obtained warrants to identify the accused, adding that courts both in Korea and overseas are cooperating to verify the identities of perpetrators on international platforms.

The agency emphasized that it will continue to work closely with law enforcement and the courts, stressing that there will be no leniency or settlements, and that it will pursue punishment to the end.

Fans were also encouraged to submit reports, with the agency urging those with relevant evidence of illegal activity to actively come forward in order to help protect the artists.
