The film Project Y has revealed its character lineup, spotlighting a powerful ensemble led by Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo.
On December 29, Plus M Entertainment released character videos from Project Y, directed by Lee Hwan. The footage introduces seven distinct characters portrayed by Han So-hee, Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Shin-rok, Jung Young-joo, Lee Jae-kyoon, YooA, and Kim Sung-cheol.
Han So-hee transforms into Mison, a character of layered complexity who dives into danger while dreaming of an ordinary life, signaling a striking shift in her on-screen image. Jeon Jong-seo plays Dokyung, Mison's closest friend and partner in risky decisions. Her portrayal highlights fearless driving skills and an impulsive, emotionally charged edge.
Kim Shin-rok appears as Gayoung, a figure who seizes opportunity without hesitation, sparking curiosity about how she becomes entangled with Mison and Dokyung. Her unhinged gaze hints at a volatile presence. Jung Young-joo delivers a bold turn as Hwangso, a ruthless fixer who eliminates obstacles without mercy. Lee Jae-kyoon takes on Seokgu, YooA portrays Hakyeong, and Kim Sung-cheol commands attention as the embodiment of absolute evil.
A production source noted that seven sharply different personalities collide throughout the story, promising strong ensemble synergy and fresh chemistry between characters.
Project Y follows two women who have nothing but each other as they steal black money in a desperate bid to escape reality. The film is set to hit theaters on January 21.
