PLAVE is releasing a special collaboration track tied to the film Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight (also known as Tonight, at the Movies).
On December 29, PLAVE's agency Blast confirmed that the group will drop the collaboration single "Borrowing This Night to Say It" across major music platforms at 6 p.m. KST. The song serves as the film's main collaboration track.
"Borrowing This Night to Say It" was originally released in 2021 by 10CM as a collaboration with the Naver webtoon A Guide to Proper Dating. Reimagined by PLAVE, the track takes on a softer, more emotional tone that recalls moments of pure and fleeting love. Lyrics such as "Even for a moment, my heart wants to see you / So I'll borrow this night to say it" are delivered with delicate nuance.
The film is based on a novel by Japanese author Ichijo Misaki, telling the poignant story of a high school girl with anterograde amnesia and an ordinary boy who shares a fragile yet heartfelt romance with her.
PLAVE, a virtual boy group that debuted in 2023, has steadily expanded its presence through albums such as Caligo Pt.1 and "Hide and Seek," while also lending their voices to multiple drama OSTs.
The PLAVE version of "Borrowing This Night to Say It" becomes available on music platforms worldwide starting at 6 p.m. KST on December 29.
