LE SSERAFIM is moving forward with strong legal measures to protect its members from malicious online activity.
Source Music announced on the group's official Weverse community that it is actively pursuing legal action against harmful posts targeting LE SSERAFIM, based on ongoing internal monitoring and reports submitted by fans.
According to the agency, criminal complaints have been filed for charges including defamation through false information, insults, and sexually explicit harassment. Several posts using terms such as "cult" or "heresy" have already resulted in confirmed guilty verdicts for defamation, while other cases have ended with suspended indictments.
Deepfake-related crimes are also being addressed with seriousness. Source Music stated that one recent case has resulted in a prison sentence, and additional cases are currently under trial with the defendants in custody.
The agency emphasized that it continuously monitors major domestic and international communities, music platforms, and social media channels in real time. Even if posts are deleted, identifying and tracking the perpetrators remains possible.
Source Music concluded by urging fans to actively report malicious content and reaffirmed its commitment to holding offenders accountable to the fullest extent, without compromise.
