Actor couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin closed out the year with another act of meaningful giving.

On December 30, their agency VAST Entertainment announced that the couple donated a total of KRW 200 million to support patients requiring medical assistance.

The donation will be used to cover treatment costs for pediatric and adolescent patients at Samsung Medical Center, as well as low-income patients facing financial hardship.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin shared that they hoped the contribution would offer "even a small measure of comfort and help to patients receiving treatment and their families."

The couple has consistently supported those in need through annual donations focused on medical and daily living assistance. In addition to individual giving, they jointly donated KRW 150 million to a baby box facility in 2023.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin is currently appearing in Disney+ original series Made in Korea, portraying Baek Gi-tae, a man driven by ambition and power in 1970s Korea.

Son Ye Jin is set to return with the film No Other Choice, followed by the Netflix series Scandal. She is also in the midst of filming Variety.
