Actor Lee Na-young is set to return to the small screen as a lawyer in the Genie TV original series Honor: The Court of Her, marking her first drama appearance in nearly three years since One Day Off.
Honor: The Court of Her is a mystery investigation drama adapted from a Swedish series of the same name. The story follows three female lawyers who confront a massive scandal tied to their past, choosing to face the truth head-on rather than avoid it.
Ahead of its premiere, the production unveiled a script reading session attended by director Park Geon-ho, writer Park Ga-yeon, and cast members including Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, Lee Chung-ah, Yeon Woo-jin, Seo Hyun-woo, Choi Young-joon, and Kim Mi-sook.
Lee Na-young takes on the role of Yoon Ra-young, a founding partner at L&J, a law firm specializing in cases involving female victims of crime. Behind her elegant smile lies a sharp and aggressive strategist, a duality she builds through controlled, chilling delivery.
Jung Eun-chae portrays Kang Shin-jae, a principled lawyer who serves as the emotional backbone of the team. Her deep, steady voice amplifies the character's conviction and presence. Lee Chung-ah plays Hwang Hyun-jin, a passionate and justice-driven lawyer whose raw breathing, firm tone, and fiery energy heighten the drama's realism.
The trio's chemistry is a major highlight. Playing university friends of 20 years who reunite as colleagues, their sense of solidarity and shared history is expected to create powerful on-screen synergy. The cast expressed confidence that the drama will balance depth, intensity, and pace as hidden secrets and a larger truth slowly surface.
Additional roles include Yeon Woo-jin as Baek Tae-joo, the CEO of an IT company, Seo Hyun-woo as prosecutor Park Jae-yeol who stands opposite the L&J lawyers, and Choi Young-joon as detective Gu Seon-gyu, Hyun-jin's husband.
The production team shared that the actors' intense performances, combined with a tightly woven narrative, already generated palpable tension during the script reading. They promised a well-made investigative drama that will meet even the most discerning viewers' expectations.
Honor: The Court of Her premieres on February 2, 2026, at 10 p.m. on Genie TV.
