BTS has officially confirmed a comeback scheduled for March 20, signaling their long-awaited return as a full group.
The announcement was delivered in a heartfelt New Year handwritten letter sent directly to ARMY homes. Along with words of gratitude, the letter included a clear hint—"2026.03.20"—revealing the comeback date. Details about the new album will be released at a later time.
This marks BTS's first group comeback in approximately three years and nine months. Their last release as a full team was the anthology album Proof in June 2022. The group now returns after completing their military hiatus.
Each member shared personal messages in the letter. RM wrote that he had been waiting more earnestly than anyone. Jin thanked fans for their patience, while SUGA said, "Let's have fun together this year. I love you."
j-hope shared that what he had imagined has finally become reality. Jimin wrote, "The year we meet again has arrived." V promised even better memories, and Jung Kook added, "I miss you. Please take good care of us this year too."
The members also reunited with fans through a live broadcast on Weverse on the final day of 2025, sharing their hopes for a successful comeback and album release.
Following the album's release, BTS is set to embark on a large-scale world tour, marking the beginning of their next global chapter.
